Accessibility statement
At Urban Retro Garden we attach great importance to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities, so that browsing is equal, respectful, accessible and comfortable.
Standards
The site was developed in line with Israeli Standard 5568 for web content accessibility, which is based on the international WCAG 2.0 standard at level AA. The adjustments allow the site to be used with assistive technologies such as screen readers (JAWS, NVDA), keyboard navigation, colour and contrast adjustments and more.
Accessibility adjustments on the site
- Option to change text size and display colours.
- Full keyboard navigation (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, arrow keys).
- Use of ARIA to describe components.
- Alternative text (alt) for images and content descriptions.
- Animations and moving content stop on request.
- Support for screen readers and text-to-speech.
Physical accessibility
Our display yard is currently located inside a well-kept plant nursery. The yard is fully accessible and includes:
- Comfortable access for wheelchairs.
- Accessible parking next to the entrance.
- Wide, accessible paths for moving freely among the products.
- Customer service adapted and accessible to everyone.
We also offer direct delivery to the customer's home, by prior arrangement.
Limitations
Despite our efforts to make every page accessible, some content may not yet be fully accessible or may be in the process of being made accessible. We work continuously to improve accessibility and add further adjustments.
