Hot tubs & ice baths: metal container solutions

Ice baths, hot tubs and paddling tubs

6 models: each with a size table and price incl. VAT

Outdoor baths

Designed outdoor baths, hot tubs and paddling pools for creating a private wellness area in the garden, on the balcony or in hospitality sites. The containers are made of galvanised steel in a range of sizes and can be set up as water, heating or cooling systems, according to the plan. Hot tubs are made up to 120 cm in diameter, a size that suits two or three people. We help you choose the container and point you to the infrastructure required; the work itself is done by the customer or by tradespeople.

Ice baths

Designed, durable ice baths for private and professional use and for wellness sites, in a range of sizes and models. The baths are made of galvanised steel with a built-in drain outlet, and some models stack for easy transport and storage. We supply the container and help you choose the model that suits your need.

Paddling pools

Iron outdoors, and full of water? With our paddling pools it really is possible, and good-looking too.

Retro containers are in fact stock tanks (for feeding and watering animals), a design that has existed for over a century, made for us today in China. They are meant to stand outside, in the sun and full of water, for a very long time.

Their retro look adds an attractive urban element to the garden, especially when they are full of water. Because they were not originally meant for use with chlorine, and the water in Israel is harder, we recommend an internal seal of chlorine-resistant swimming-pool epoxy, applied in a controlled room under the best conditions.

Unlike plastic pools, they do not have to be folded away in winter; they look far better than mass-produced plastic pools; and they can be placed almost anywhere with no advance preparation.

It is an iron container. Does the water heat up in the sun?

When the water circulates properly, with a cleaning pump, the water in the container does not heat up beyond the top layer (as in any pool).

How is a paddling pool maintained?

Once every year or two we recommend emptying the pool, drying it and adding epoxy, which protects the metal from chlorine or salt damage in long-term use.

Can paddling pool containers be painted?

To protect the galvanising over the years, we recommend not powder coating these containers, because the oven melts the seals. They can, however, be painted by hand.

How is the water drained?

The containers have a drain outlet in the lower side wall, to which a cleaning pump is connected. The choice of pump depends on the size of the container; most pool equipment importers recommend a 1,400-gallon sand pump, which can be used (with a timer) for years with no routine maintenance or filter changes.

The water can be returned by drilling an upper opening or by creating a small fountain.

How is the water kept clean?

The water is cleaned with chlorine or bromine. In most cases bromine is recommended, because it is gentler than chlorine on metal containers. On the other hand, if the water is heated, as in a hot tub, bromine makes it foam. Consult the pool importers on the quantities to use.

Is there a way to protect the container from chlorine damage?

For those who want it, we supply the containers with a special hand-applied coat of chlorine-resistant sealant. Add the request when choosing the product (relevant only to round containers 2.32 m in diameter and above).

Who is an ice bath for?

Many therapists report that athletes who soak in an ice bath do not suffer sore or stiff muscles the next day.

It is for anyone curious about what the mind and body can do and how they connect, and for anyone who feels most at home in nature. The soak changes what we are used to doing during the day and sharpens mental focus, through breathing practice and gradual exposure to cold.
