Paved squares

Beyond paved plazas in public areas, more and more customers in private homes also choose to create a paved garden (which we treat like a balcony in terms of drainage and irrigation) with no lawn or soil to make a mess.
Entrance plazas to public places, which are outdoor as far as the choice of plants is concerned, also need sealed containers that will last for years without leaks and with irrigation that will not be ruined or damaged. A clean, tight installation of the irrigation above the paving, or preparation in advance, is important.
You can order the containers from us drilled in different positions to suit the paving and site conditions; however, we recommend making such adjustments on site only, to avoid creating further weak points in the container.

Questions and answers
Does corten stain passers-by?
Many customers worry that corten may run on a paved plaza or stain passers-by.
The staining can be solved by applying a water-based sealer or lacquer.
In addition, make sure the drain and any other openings made in the container are fully sealed, to prevent residual water and leaks from these weak points.
Which models are recommended for paved plazas?
Most of our containers sold with raising feet are recommended for paved plazas, because you can clean under the container with a pressure washer, lift the containers and move them with a trolley, and keep the paving clean and new. Once a planter with no raising feet is placed on paving (even outdoor paving), there are many situations in which dirt and a stain will remain on it.
